Location: Ft. Kent Applicant: Town of Ft. Kent Project: Acquisition of a 138,610 sq. ft. manufacturing facility by the Town of Ft. Kent in the Ft. Kent Industrial Park, to be leased to several private companies. Creative Apparel, a military clothing manufacturer is the primary lessee. As of January 2006, a total of 108,500 sq. ft. have been leased to two separate companies. A total of 77-85 jobs have been created/retained. Location: Auburn Applicant: American Holdings Project: Purchase and redevelopment of a historic brick building in downtown Auburn. The renovations were completed in late 2005. The upper two floors will be leased as office space and the ground floor has been leased to Gritty MacDuffs, a restaurant and brew pub. Location: Oakland Applicant: Kennebec Regional Development Authority/FirstPark Project: Construction of a $20,000 sq. ft. Class A office building located on Lot #16 in FirstPark. The building is currently being marketed by The Boulos Company. Location: Hartland Applicant: Irving Tanning Project: Acquisition of IRving Tanning Company by Meriturn Partner's LLC.
